Queanbeyan
We recently worked on a project that introduced a charming cottage aesthetic while incorporating sustainable building practices, in Queanbeyan. The team designed and constructed dry stack walls, along with recycled brick paving and mortared paving. Our focus was to maintain a delightful cottage look and feel, all while utilising up-cycled building materials.
The expert team carefully selected and skillfully arranged the dry stack walls, adding a touch of rustic elegance to the landscape. These walls not only provided structural support but also created a visually appealing feature that complemented the overall theme.
Recycled bricks were repurposed to create captivating pathways, giving these materials a new lease on life, the project reduced waste and environmental impact.
There are many benefits of up-cycled building materials. By using salvaged bricks, the project reduced the demand for new materials and the energy consumed in their production. This approach also helped preserve the character and history of the area, adding a sense of heritage and authenticity to the landscape.
